	14 June 2013: The Alternative G8 View: Conflict, Transition and Gender taking place on Thursday 20 June at 7pm in Belfast campus. Co-organised by TJI and Amnesty International. All welcome!
	6 June 2013: The 6th Annual Summer School on Transitional Justice - this year's theme is "Peace Negotiations, Peace Mediation and Influencing Implementation: Engaging Women and Gender”. will take place from 17-21 June at the University of Ulster's Belfast campus. 	30 January 2013: Mr. Barra McGrory, Q.C., Director of Public Prosecutions for Northern Ireland, delivered a seminar on the role, constraints and contributions of his office, followed by robust conversations with the audience of students, academics and policy-makers. 	14 January 2013: TJI are pleased to announce that the article by Professor Colm Campbell and Ita Connolly 'The sharp end: armed opposition movements, transitional truth processes and the Rechtsstaat' published in the International Journal of Transitional Justice has been short listed for the SLSA-Hart Socio-Legal Prize. The prize is given to the most outstanding piece of socio-legal scholarship in the previous year.
	30 September 2012: TJI Seminar Series 2012-13 will begin with our first seminar on Wednesday 17 October 2012 being delivered by Kate Fearon from the Department for International Development (DFID) on "Gender and Conflict: Experiences from the Field in Sudan and Beyond" in Dalriada House, Jordanstown campus. All welcome.
	30 July 2012: Dr Aisling Swaine, former PhD student at TJI and currently Visiting Scholar, has been appointed as a consultant to UN Women headquarters in New York as a 'Programme Analyst on Transitional Justice' in the Peace and Security Section of UN Women. She will be supporting UN Women's work on promoting women's access to justice.
	16 July 2012: TJI hosts conference on 'What Next? Dealing with the Past in Northern Ireland' with guest speaker Professor Bronwyn Leebaw from the University of California. Podcasts for the speakers' presentations are now online.
	7 June 2012: TJI announces the launch of the new and innovative LLM programme in Gender, Conflict and Human Rights. A 'Taster Day' and will take place on Friday 22 June, from 11am - 2pm with a drop-in information session from 1-2pm, with lunch. Everyone welcome!
